The Jardiniere is cast with upright flared side and is brightly decorated with four shaped panels of European figures in a garden setting, the reserved yellow ground brightly applied with bats among clouds.

The second panel with three foreigners, one of them carrying an elephant tusk the other a vase. The dignitary holding a gold coin in his hand.
The third panel with two foreigners, one holding a parasol over the head of a caped dignitary, he stands by a small elephant, whose saddle holds a vase with implements. All set by a lake with buildings in the background.
The fourth scene with three foreigners and a dog in a a landscape setting, one holding a clock, the other running towards them with an object aloft in his hands.
Condition: Some flaking of enamel to the top rim repainted.
