A Pair of Blue and White Vases and Covers, Kangxi 1662-1722.

A fine pair of Kangxi blue and white vases and covers, decorated with open flowers and branching leaves, in between lappet borders. The well potted vases splaying upwards from the base, drawing inwards at the shoulders, to a stiff collar. The covers sitting proudly on top.

 

Condition:
One jar with a polished rim and a bruise to the inner rim apprx. 2 cm long. One jar with scattered shallow rim chips and frits.

One cover with knop restuck and scattered patches of infill at the rim.
